Waternish and the village of Stein is a conservation village which was designed originally at the end of the 18th century as a model fishing village and it is still home to fishermen who brave the local waters to land fresh seafood. The village boasts the renowned Loch Bay Seafood Restaurant; Stein itself has the oldest pub on Skye, the Stein Inn and is home to
a wealth of beautiful shorelines to walk along, as well as forestry walks
to enable you to see the amazing wildlife including eagles, otters and corncrakes.
And an extraordinary array of unique art and craft enterprises.
