The Old Post Office and Henderson House are two lovingly restored fishermans’ cottages in the historic village of Stein.  They are located in a cul de sac on the magical Waternish peninsula right by the sea. Ideal for couples or families who want to be in a tiny hamlet (population 20) with eating-out facilities and that  also have their own gardens that run down to the seashore – wonderful to watch the sunset from.  David and Alison would be delighted to welcome you to this most idyllic corner of Skye.
Both cottages are supplied with linen, towels and coal.  All other fuel is charged at cost by meter reading on your departure.  Mobile phones do not as rule work in Stein so pay phones are installed in each cottage.  There is also a good number of books, games, DVDs  and videos in each cottage.
The tariff varies according to season, weekly rates can be found on the availability charts.  The Old Post Office is let from Friday to Friday and Henderson House is let from Saturday to Saturday throughout the season.  Three day plus lets are sometimes available in the winter months.
